Surprising, amazing and capturing the attention of the customer represent an increasingly complex mission in the hyper-competitive market of digital content, both online and in physical experiences, in the retail sector or at corporate events and trade shows.

What to do to capture and engage the users who are constantly bombarded with visual inputs? Among the possible strategies, an effective alternative is to use a truly innovative technology capable of conveying digital content in a disruptive way. Something no one has ever seen before, or at least not in that way, with the possibility of even touching the virtual products with their own hands. This is the case of Hypervsn, the innovative 3D hologram system for which Protocube Reply has obtained the Content Creation Certification.

Why Hypervsn? Quality without compromise

Many international brands, in the fields of technology and fashion, among others, have already used Hypervsn technology to support their campaigns and enhance their in-store presence. Why is this technology so effective, to the point of convincing, among others, entrepreneurs like Richard Branson or Mark Cuban to support kino-mo, the company that develops it, ever since it was a start-up?

In this business and technology area, there is certainly no shortage of alternatives but at the moment no competitor can match the standards that Hypervsn can offer, both in terms of device quality and creation and management (CMS) of 3D content.

Hypervsn’s 3D hologram system is made of LED propellers (which can be used individually or combined for larger sizes) which can render visual content with resolutions up to 880×880 pixels (the standard of holographic projectors is currently 720×720 or 440×440, Editor’s note). In other words, this translates into a high definition of the images, especially considering the distance of the observer that such a device entails for the intended scope. The basic resolution allows texts to be read easily without the notorious “pixel effect”.

Another hallmark that proves the quality of Hypervsn devices is the colour rendering. Being it constant at 16 million colours, it avoids distortions and, above all, it displays logos and brands properly, something that is far from obvious when it comes to reproducing a light signal.

3D holograms and interactivity

If 3D holograms allow you to capture the attention like few other media, the possibility of interacting with your audience is an added value which makes the experience between the user and the product truly exclusive and memorable. In addition to research on the quality of the visuals, Hypervsn is working intensely on the development of interactive 3D hologram solutions, which constitute for the user a very intuitive augmented reality experience, natural and free from the use of devices and controllers that would otherwise require a certain learning period. Let’s see some of the tools that Hypervsn presented at CES 2020, which can make use of 3D holograms to develop retail experiences.

Hypervsn Holographic Gaming is a white-label tool that links the gaming experience to brands’ communication needs. It is ideal for engaging the public at events and trade shows.
Hypervsn 3D Modeller allows you to create exploded diagrams and cutaway drawings of 3D models, even complex ones. It is an excellent application to explain the operation of products and machinery of any size, as it allows the user to schematise their structure and operation.
Hypervsn HyperFaces is a facial filter which generates a 3D hologram in real-time. It was conceived for live experiences such as those on social networks.
Hypervsn 3D Catalog is the first interactive tool developed to provide interaction with the products and to configure them in real-time.
